ROLABS is a human-friendly service robot development company established based on industrial robot design technology with the goal of creating various realistic VR/AR experience spaces from 2015.
With the core value of our company, “A company, sharing a joy of the world”, ROLABS is growing as a leader of both VR equipment and service. Our company aims to create a shared value of the users’ experience and R&D in the field of personal simulator.
As our company is going beyond of the limited roles of the traditional robot development company, ROLABS offers real-time interlock service between contents and simulators through various immersive contents creation and internet service. Also, our company is going wide from the limits of simple enjoyment and entertainment to become a company leading the renovation and the changes.

History

Rolabs Concept

With the prominence of social media, it has become easier to share our life events. However, there is only so much that we can get out of pictures and videos on a computer screen. Rolabs wants to create a more interactive experience where the viewer can go through the same motions as the recorder. While a conventional motion simulator isn’t a novel concept, ROLabs has been able to share exhilarated contents on the ROLbot mechanism with a reduced time-delay of ROLa through the contents provider, ROLpan, for people to upload and download their experiences
