ROLabs Mechanism

  • Design the coupled active joint mechanism between serial chains to sustain the heavy load
  • The base stage consists of three prismatic active joints moving along the vertical frame.
  • The triangular truss structure consists of three links. Each of the three links have one 1-DOF prismatic joint and two 1-DOF revolute joint.
  • The lengths of the triangle sides are variable.
